Inspection Volume
Shows the total number of plan reviews and inspections for a given date range. It also includes a total count of violations/deficiencies cited. Totals are given by inspector and by inspection type with grand totals at the bottom.
This report can include activity from both Inspector Mobile (existing building inspections) and Permits Mobile (Building Inspector) (new construction and renovation reviews and inspections).
Top X Findings
Shows the violations/deficiencies cited most frequently. The user enters the value for X. E.g., X = 10 will show the top 10 violations/deficiencies cited.
The report can include both existing building activity and new construction/renovation activity.
Filters include but are not limited to the date range, Property Use type, and code source.
Inspection History (Full)
Enables the user to view and print the full inspection report for a number of inspections/plan reviews at the same time.
The report includes only new construction/renovation inspections/plan reviews.
Filters include but are not limited to date range and inspection/plan review type.
Inspection History (Exception)
Enables the user to view and print the exception inspection report - i.e., only the violations/deficiencies - for a number of inspections/plan reviews at the same time. Checklist items marked "Pass" or "NA" are not included on the exception report.
The report includes only new construction/renovation inspections/plan reviews.
Filters include but are not limited to date range and inspection/plan review type.
Inspection Summary
Shows a list of inspections/plan reviews conducted for a given date range. It does not show the contents of the report. Use the Inspection History reports to see the report content.
This report shows only new construction/renovation activity.
Filters include, but are not limited to, date range, inspector, Property Use type, and inspection type.
Jobs by Type
Shows the total number of jobs created and the total dollar value of those jobs. Totals are listed by job type. Dollar values are listed by job type. Grand totals are listed for all job types.
Filters include, but are not limited to, date range and Property Use type.
Permits Issued by Type
Shows the total number of permits issued for a given date range. Totals are given by permit type with a grand total for all permit types.
The report includes total fees charged and fees collected for each permit type, with grand totals for all permit types.
The report also shows the total project cost for the owning jobs for all permits listed. (Since a job can have more than one permit, it would be misleading to list the project/job cost by permit type.)
Filters include, but are not limited to, date range and Property Use type.
Paid/Unpaid Permits
Lists each permit issued in the specified date range. Data for each permit includes:
- Address
- Occupant
- Contractor
- Job #
- Permit #
- Permit Fee
- Amount Paid
- Balance Due
- Issue Date
- Closed Date (if the permit is closed)
The report is broken down into two categories - Paid and Unpaid. For each category total fees are listed by general ledger/department code or category.
Filters include, but are not limited to, date range and Property Use type.
Permit Details
Shows details on all permits issued within a given date range. The following details are listed for each permit:
- Address
- Occupant
- Contractor
- Job #
- Permit #
- Permit Fee
- Amount Paid
- Balance Due
- Issue Date
- Closed Date (if the permit is closed)
Filters include, but are not limited to, Issue Date Range, Permit Status, Permit Type, and Contractor.
Invoice Transactions
Lists invoice transactions for a given date range. A "transaction" is a payment, an adjustment, or a refund.
Details of each transaction include:
- Address
- Occupant
- Contractor
- Invoice #
- Payment or Adjustment Date
- Check #/Adjustment Reason
- Amount
Filters include, but are not limited to, date range and Property Use type.
GL Transaction Summary
Gives a breakdown of payment transactions collected across multiple invoices into a total by:
- Administrator
- GL code
- Payment method
Data from Portal
Shows a count of the following data submitted through the contractor application portal:
- Companies - New companies from portal accounts set up during the specified date range.
- Contractors - New individual contractors who set up a portal account during the specified date range.
- Locations, Structures, Occupants, Owners, and Contacts - The count for each of these is the total number of new locations, structures, etc. submitted by contractors during the specified date range.
- Jobs - New jobs created from applications submitted through the portal.
Location - Duplicate Addresses
Provides a list of addresses that are in the database more than once. A duplicate address is defined as one that is an exact match with another address in all of the following fields:
- Address #
- Direction Prefix
- Street Name
- Direction Suffix
Since, as a general rule, there should only be one of each address in the database, this report can be used to find the duplicate addresses on the Locations tab and merge them.
Occupants with No Geocode (lat/long)
Lists the occupants that were not able to be geocoded. Geocoding enables users to find the occupant on a map.
This report provides links for the user to manually locate an occupants map pin in the right location on the map.
